Namaste

My name is Leela and I am absolutely obsessed with all things Yoga!
This ancient philosophy that stems back over 5000 years has more to offer than physical flexibility it is a comprehensive approach to health, wellbeing and spirituality. What everyone needs to navigate through life's challenges in the modern day!
All About Me

I have been regularly practicing Hatha, Ashtanga, and Vinyasa Flow yoga for over five years. After qualifying as a yoga instructor, I felt a strong desire to share my passion by teaching traditional Hatha yoga—a style that truly resonates with me.
Although I had dipped in and out of yoga over the years, it wasn’t until later that I truly discovered its transformative power and the important role it plays in my life. At the time, I was running my own business while also navigating the daily responsibilities of being a mum, wife, and daughter. Life was full—and stressful.
One day, I attended a class that completely absorbed me. As I focused solely on the instructor’s guidance, my breath, and the postures, something shifted. I felt a deep sense of stillness and peace, culminating in a meditative state so profound that it may have even sounded like snoring!
That moment changed everything. I was hooked. Missing a class left me feeling off balance, and I began to crave the sense of calm and clarity yoga brought me.
Eager to deepen my practice, I travelled to India—the birthplace of yoga—where I completed my 200-hour Teacher Training in Multi-Style Yoga at Goa Yogashala, an accredited Yoga Alliance USA school. I am a registered member of Yoga Alliance Professionals UK and currently teach at local health clubs as well as offering private sessions.
In addition to asana, I also teach meditation and continue to explore the ancient wisdom of yoga philosophy. I have a growing interest in Ayurveda, yoga’s sister science, and I’m constantly inspired by how these practices can support holistic wellbeing for everyone.
I am deeply grateful to my ancestors and teachers who have guided me to this path—especially my dear late father, a true yogi in every sense. He quietly embodied Patanjali’s eightfold path, leading by example and inspiring me with his unwavering dedication.
Yoga is a deeply personal journey. I look forward to meeting you and supporting you on yours, so that you too can experience the many gifts this practice offers.
Namaste 🙏🏽
